Terri Hinkley (3 June 2010 Speaker)
Terri Hinkley, RN, BScN, MBA, CCRC: Terri is the Director, Clinical Operations for Helix BioPharma Corp., a position she has held since July 2008. She has over 14 years clinical research experience in the CRO and pharmaceutical industry. Terri graduated from Centennial College’s Diploma Nursing program in 1986, with experience in Medicine, ICU and Emergency. She completed her BScN in 2000 and her MBA in 2005. Terri continues to practice nursing in the Emergency Department of Centenary Health Centre in Toronto, on a casual part-time basis. Terri has been a member of ACRP since 1996, and completed her Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) Exam in 1999. She has been a member of the ACRP Canadian Chapter’s Education Committee since its inception and is the Past-President of the Canadian Chapter of ACRP. In January of this year, Terri began a term as a member of the ACRP Board of Trustees. Terri is also an item writer for the Certification Exam for Clinical Research Coordinators with ACRP. She is a member of the Advisory Committee for the Clinical Research Associate Program at the Michener Institute, where she has also instructed the Introduction to Clinical Research course. In her spare time, Terri is active in her two favourite sports, curling and baseball. She serves on the Board of Directors for both the Ajax Womens Slo-Pitch Association, where she serves as President and the Whitby Curling Club, where she is the Director responsible for Marketing and Advertising for the club. Terri is married with 3 children, and also serves as the Trainer on her 7 year old daughter’s hockey team.
