Researchers at Forefront of Fight against COVID-19 18 March 2021

UPDATED SPEAKER LIST! We are excited to showcase and highlight the innovation that Canadian researchers and scientists are bringing forward in the fight against COVID-19.  Please join us virtually to learn  more about the researchers at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19.

Canadian Medicago will discuss their innovative plant-based technology to produce vaccines and immunotherapies and an update on their COVID-19 vaccine development.  We are honoured to have Nathalie Charland, PhD, Senior Director of Scientific and Medical affairs as our speaker.

Skymount Medical/DeepDrug will discuss the use of Artificial Intelligence to develop novel therapeutic strategies to treat COVID-19.  We are honoured to have Dr Kishor Wasan, Chief Medical and Scientific Officer and Dr Supratik Mukhopadhyay, Head of Deep Drug Program as our speakers.

Entos Pharmaceuticals will discuss the Entos drug delivery platform and various applications related to the Fusogenix DNA vaccine against COVID-19.  We are honoured to have Catalina Vasquez, Lead of Clinical Development as our speaker.

LMC Manna Research will speak to the patient’s side from conducting the vaccine study for Medicago at their research sites.  We are honoured to have Raphael Brochu, regional site lead, bring his perspective.
