Women in Clinical Research

International Women’s Day was Friday March 8th.  Join us March 21st to look at Women in Clinical Research.

Heart and Stroke Canada, represented by Heather Black-Bunting, will present on their #TimeToSeeRed campaign which highlights the importance of understanding the differences between men and women.  As they state: “Women are under-researched, under-diagnosed and over-dying”.

We will also hear about the Cannabis Industry perspective on women.  Michelle Arbus will discuss how women can be challenging to recruit as many are caregivers with less time to devote to participating in research.

Great event for women AND men!  Hope to see you there!

Location NEW: Markland Wood Golf Club in West Toronto (Etobicoke) – basically 427 and Burnhamthorpe so close for everyone and good TTC access.
