Amanda Jones is currently on assignment as Manager of the Investigational Testing Authorization Section in the Medical Devices Directorate (MDD). She is a substantive manager in the Post-Market Surveillance Section (also in MDD).

Amanda has worked in various medical device sections within Health Canada as a Scientific Evaluator and/or manager for 20 years. The various areas she has worked included cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, general restorative, investigational testing, post-market surveillance, and the office of the science advisor. Amanda has a background (MSc.) in the study of biomaterials.
