Dr. Fatima Nasrallah, Leader of the functional Neuroimaging & Traumatic brain Injury Laboratory, Queensland Brain Institute, University of Queensland & Jamieson Trauma Institutes

  • Dr. Fatima Nasrallah is the leader of the Functional Neuroimaging and Traumatic Brain Injury laboratory at the Queensland Brain Institute at the University of Queensland and the Jamieson Trauma Institute. She is also a Motor Accident Insurance Commission Fellow and through this organization leads a multimillion dollar project to improve biomarker development for prognosis after a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Her work in traumatic brain injury has been the first to uncover the long-lasting effects of trauma decades following an injury and its link with neurodegenerative diseases. She is now the lead investigator of the PREDICT-TBI trial, a national multi-center Australian trial that brings together more than 100 medical professionals and researchers to improve patient care following a TBI.

  • Virginia’s background in science and fitness guided her to the role within WHOOP to head up research sales and research account management. She helped expand WHOOP’s research opportunities into areas such as CBD, psychedelics, cancer research, and physician burnout.

David Champion, CEO/Founder Maya, Director at Unlimited Science.

  • David Champion was previously Co-founder & CPO at Baker Technologies, which he exited after achieving a valuation of $250MM. David graduated summa cum laude in Architecture from Cambridge University and built a nonprofit to help Kenyan children access schooling. Brought up in Papua New Guinea, Portugal and Scotland, he began his career in New York with Daniel Libeskind, working on the Ground Zero masterplan. He has a decade of experience designing consumer software and his interests are behavioral data, digital art, user experience design, oil painting, and mindfulness. Following his involvement helping Denver become the first city to decriminalize psilocybin mushrooms, David is committed to helping advance safe and accessible psychedelic medicine on a global scale.
